The product is exactly as pictured. It fits all my largest knives, including several types of chef knives. The raised slots are plenty wide to accomodate wider handles from an assortment of knives from various brands. Some of the other knife blocks brands have narrower slots for the raised section, but this one has plenty of room for all of my knives, including my Chicago Cutlery knives. The knife block fits well in my drawer when full. The block seems to be plenty longer than my longest knives.
The Wusthof Wave Design is Larger Than Amazon's Description

This is a nice knife holder, but Amazon is describing this as a ll slot knife holder, with smaller dimensions. I ordered 2 based on Amazons dimentions. What I received was a knife drawer, that holds 14 knives. It requires a 17" drawer depth, 9" wide and 3" high. The 2 knife holders, will not fit in the drawer as planned. This doesn't detract from the quality of the knife holder. But, please note the dimensions, what Amazon is describing is not this design model. The 29.99 is a great price for this item. I had ordered the version that Amazon is describing last year from an Amazon seller, and paid more for it with the shipping, than Amazon is currently selling this one for.

This knife holder is very good quality and fit exactly as intended. I looked into others and this one was less expensive, more compact and is nice looking.
Great decluttering solution - nice and tidy!

I am so glad I finally purchased this knife tray. I had all of my knives in a small drawer and needed a more orgaized solution. This tray keeps the knives protected in a nice, organized fashion - off the counter and hidden from view. The tray is quality-made as well...Love it!
This is fantastic!

I'd been looking for something to put my knives in to keep them together. I looked at knife blocks, but I hate clutter on my counter tops, and I couldn't be sure that they would accommodate my larger knives. This looked like the answer. It only took a week from the day I ordered it to arrive. I actually ordered the 11 Wusthof draw tray from a well known TV shopping network for over $52 which included shipping and tax. I'm glad I checked out Amazon, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the same item, with 3 more knife slots for less and free shipping. I quickly cancelled the other knife tray and ordered it from Amazon. I'm happy to say it fits all my knives. The middle section is a little wider and fits my cheese and citrus microplanes. I'm very happy with the quality of this knife tray, it looks perfect in my drawer. There are wooden dowels across the width, to rest the knives on. I had heard of others being metal, I'm happy mine are wood. When I ordered it I worried about the finish of the wood, as I'd read a review where someone wasn't happy with it. I worried for nothing it's great. It arrived in a large box with lots of those plastic air pillows to protect it.
